Each evening from 20:00, the film comes to the screen under the open sky: on Saturday, "Amarga Navidad" by Pedro Almodóvar (Cannes 2026); on Sunday, "Los domingos / Sundays" by Alauda Ruiz de Azúa. Access to Weekend Sessions and the screenings is with the museum entry ticket.

On September 19 and 20 we return to the garden of Casa Filipescu-Cesianu for Cinema Spaniol, a weekend made in partnership with the Spanish Embassy / Embajada de España en Bucarest. | 20:15-21:30 | Spanish Cinema: In Amarga Navidad (film 12+), Pedro Almodóvar's new film, Elsa, an advertising director, loses her mother around Christmas and tries to escape her grief by throwing herself into work. A panic attack forces her to stop and leave for a while to Lanzarote with a friend. In parallel, the film follows the story of a director and screenwriter, and the two narrative threads come to blur reality, memory, and fiction into a story about loss, creation, and the way life becomes material for art. | Cinema |

| 20:15-21:30 | Spanish Cinema: In Los domingos (film 12+), directed by Alauda Ruiz de Azúa, Ainara, a 17-year-old intelligent and idealistic teenager, is at the point where her family expects her to choose a university and a path in life. Instead, she announces that she feels increasingly drawn to faith and is considering becoming a cloistered nun. Her decision provokes strong tension within the family and opens a conflict between vocation, personal freedom, and the way those around her try to decide what is best for her. | Cinema |
